About the International Journal of Orthodontics
The International Journal of Orthodontics (IJO) is a quarterly peer-reviewed clinical journal published by the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). It has been continuously published since 2002 and is the successor of the Journal of General Orthodontics. The IJO features original scientific and clinical articles on orthodontics, plus an editorial, practice tips and office management hints. The purpose of the IJO is to serve as an educational tool, as well as to present innovative treatment mechanisms as they are developed.

Searching for Articles in IJO and Past Journals
Search online for articles in current and past issues of IJO, or in past journals. Articles are available for puchase to non-members in electronic format (pdf). Please contact the IAO for more information.
The IJO is available for IAO Members on the iPad, iPhone, and Android phone. After you download the application of your choice, use the password on your IAO ID card to access the current journal.
IJO Subscription Rates
IAO Members receive the print and online versions of the International Journal of Orthodontics as a member benefit. Each issue is available for purchase at a rate of US $10 (U.S. addresses) or US$ 15 (non-U.S. addresses) if extra copies are in stock. Annual IJO Subscriptions are also available to non-member individuals and instutions. These subscriptions are print-only.
Institutional journal subscriptions are available for US$40 per year to U.S. mailing addresses and US $60 per year for non-U.S. mailing addresses due to higher shipping costs. To become an IJO Instutional Subscriber please complete the online IJO Institutional Subscription Form for US Addresses or the IJO Institutional Subscription Form for Non-U.S. Addresses. Completed forms should be returned with payment to IAO Headquarters via fax or post. To pay with check or money order, please contact Jenn Baker-Batterman by (email or call +1 414.272.2757).
Individuals who are not IAO Members may subscribe to the IJO for US$308 per year. To become an IJO Non-Member Subscriber*, please complete the IJO Non-Member Subscription Form and return it with payment to IAO Headquarters via fax or post.
